  21. I got about 700kb/s with my old 82mb 2.5" Quantum, and now my 1gb 3.5" Seagate
  22. gives me about 1500kb/s.. so 800kb for your drive seems rather OK.
  23. (I used DiskSpeed and SysInfo for the tests.)

  25. IDE drives on an A1200 aren't very fast... :(
